At Yes. Every American., we believe that no one should be denied the healthcare their doctor believes is necessary — whether that care is holistic, integrative, conventional, or a combination of approaches.
Our work is rooted in the conviction that whole-person care produces the best outcomes, and that medical freedom is essential for a thriving, healthy nation. We are a national movement to educate on and expand access to healthcare. We are inspired by one woman’s remarkable healing journey and her fight to ensure all Americans can access the care they need.
It started with one woman. And it led to a movement.
When Lou was diagnosed with cancer, the treatment options covered by insurance weren’t enough — and, according to her doctors, not the best approach for her full healing. Instead, Lou pursued holistic, integrative, whole-person care that strengthened her body, mind, and immune system.
Insurance refused to pay for most of it. But Lou had the means to afford it, fought for access — and she survived. Her story illuminated a truth millions of families live every day: The right care exists, but it’s often inaccessible.
Healthcare shouldn't be determined by what an insurance company decides is covered. It should be guided by what doctors believe is best. Lou’s courage and recovery became the spark for a national movement — and the foundation for Yes. Every American.
